Welcome to the SGS Workshop Catalog. In addition to putting on concerts, we want to sponsor regular educational events that will benefit local guitar players. We hope to make them affordable and focused, so those of you who need musical, career, or technical information can meet with a teacher and a small number of other students. We envision them as having 6-15 people, and taking place in a local venue from 6-9pm on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday evening, and costing between $10 and $30, with a substantial discount for SGS members. We also are experimenting with the plan of collecting names from those of you who would like to attend the workshop, and then scheduling it for a month later once we get a minimum number to make it go. There is no financial obligation if you sign up, but we do need to know how to contact you. Please "sign up" if you would like to attend.

If you would like to teach a workshop, or if you would like to attend a workshop that is not listed here, please contact us, and we will try to set something up, and will see if it attracts some students.

We think our workshop programs will be a valuable addition to the Seacoast music community, and will help those who want to learn more about the technical, musical, legal or any other aspects of being a guitar player.
