ARTIST HISTORY Lex has performed with horn and wind master Joe Riillo up and down the East Coast for 15 years, and though they favor the 1930's and 40's swing-era music, they have a huge repertoire of, jazz, blues, and Motown favorites, plus some originals and songs from Van Morrison, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Tom Waits, and Leon Redbone. They play as a duo, or often with the 4-piece "Lex and Joe Blueswing", and the 5-piece "Nightlifes," and have a long history in other legendary area R&B bands such as "Neil and the Nightlifes".
