 ARTIST HISTORY Dave has been full time since 1985, performing at times as many as 275 shows in a year across forty states. He keeps a regular full time performance schedule of four to six shows a week. Also at ease in the studio, dave has participated in eight recording projects, culminating in the release of his debut album, "Memory Hill" and his follow up, 1999's, "Losing The Boy". His latest endeavor shows a new facet to the musical skill and exuberance that his fans have come to expect from him. Listeners will enjoy a new sophistication to the lyrics, mood and style of "Losing The Boy". He is a front man who has matured into a solo artist. Dave is also known for fronting the Seacoast band (Savoy) Truffle. As well as headlining many respected venues, Truffle has shared the stage with, Dave mattews band, Little Feat, Blues Traveler, The Band, and Phish to name a few. The band also signed a three album deal with November/Sony. Dave in solo and duo formats has shared the stage with, Arlo Guthrie, Toots and the Maytalls, David Lindley, Pat Donohue, Chris Smither, and Tinytown. He has also had his Compositions appear in a N.Y.C. Board of Education learning series video, as well as a full length feature film. Recently Dave has also been performing at elementary school music seminars in New Hampshire, Virginia, and colorado. "dave gerad's second solo album is outstanding.
