Enjoy a magical evening of Irish ballads, harp tunes and storytelling by one of Ireland's own minstrels. Aine is
a charming and witrty performer as well as a consummate musician. She plays airs, reels and dance tunes on the harp,
and sings beautifully, and you will think it is still 1830 (or even 1130!) as we present our first musical event in
this lovely restored barn. This is our first collaboration with the Museums of York and there could not be a better
artist to hear in this intimate new room. | Sunday

A real discovery! From sizzling bottleneck blues, African gourd-style banjo, fiddle, harmonica and swing & soul songs, Michael Jerome Browne is a prodigiously talented singer & guitarist who lives in Montreal and is barely known elsewhere. This will be his first local appearance. Trust us-- he is incredible. |

Andrew Calhoun is a legend in the midwest folk circuit, and his uniquely quirky poetry, cool guitar, and an insatiable
musical spirit that has led him on all sorts of amazing quests. He is a fountain of words and music– insanely funny,
deadly serious, and everything in between. He'll takes us on a tour ranging from his own jaw-dropping lyrics to old
Scottish ballads, baroque guitar, and now his latest passion: a resurrection and renewal of authentic slave songs
from the mid 1800's. He rarely comes to town, and is a delight. |

Ernie Hawkins Ernie is one of America's premier ragtime/blues fingerpickers, and he is an encyclopedia of old-fashioned, good-natured down-home blues pickin'. He hails from Pittsburgh, and this will be his first area appearance ever. |

with special guest Denny Breau Don't miss guitar prodigy Richard Smith (with his wife Julie on virtuoso cello) in their first area show since they sold out 4 years ago. Richard can play anything he wants to on the guitar, and is a delight as he moves through his amazing repertoire of jazz, classical, ragtime, standards etc. Chet Atkins said "The most amazing guy I know on the guitar... He can play anything I know, only better." And put on your seat belt when Richard and opening act Denny Breau do some jamming... |
