About Robin Kessinger & Todd Hallawell: This will be the first time in the area for these two super-pickers, and guitars fans will not want to miss this show. Robin Kessinger won the National Flatpicking championship in 1985, and has continued to deepen as one of those Southern treasures who effortlessly and musically pours out buckets of beautiful notes. He has teamed up with singer, classically-trained, National Fingerpicking Champion and brilliant flatpicker Todd Hallawell. Together they play elegent and smoking-hot fiddle tunes, rags, blues, swing and anything else they want to, and their relaxed and humorous presentation makes for an evening of pure guitar pleasure. Tremendously talented players.
