About Aine Minogue: Come enjoy an evening of exquisite Celtic music in the newly renovated antique barn at the York Historical Society in downtown York Village. Aine Minogue is from Tipperary, Ireland, and she sings in a pure and clear traditional voice and plays a wide variety of airs and dance tunes on the Irish harp. A world-renowned performer of Irish music and a consummate musician, her stories and tales of life and music in the old world and natural on-stage charm and wit will ensure an entertaining and interesting evening of music for all. You might think it is the year 1830 (or 1130 for that matter) as Aine's harp and sweet voice waft through the building.

Note from director Harvey Reid: "Aine is a brilliant musician, and thoroughly entertaining, and a perfect artist to inaugurate our new concerts at the fabulous new (and old!) Remick Barn. Please don't get too worked up over the fact that she doesn't play guitar. She's great, and she was available so I booked her..."

DIRECTIONS: Take Exit 7 off I-95 in Maine, follow signs to York. Go 1/2 mile on Rt 1-A until you see tall church towering over the village. The Remick Barn is across the street on the right. Park anywhere.
